We are pleased to announce that Seattle Business magazine has named Goldberg Jones one of Washington’s 100 Best Companies to Work For. Not only did we make the top 100, we cracked the top 25, coming in at number 24 on the countdown.

“We are fortunate to have an incredibly skilled, dedicated team,” says founding partner Rick Jones. “We place a huge emphasis on attracting great people and creating an open workplace where achievement, autonomy, and pride thrive. It’s an honor to be included in Washington’s 100 Best Companies to Work For. It’s even more meaningful knowing it’s a direct result of our team’s satisfaction and enthusiasm.”

What Is The Criteria?

In order to compile this list, Seattle Business magazine conducted more than 31,000 anonymous surveys throughout Washington. These questionnaires asked for feedback from employees about multiple aspects of their work environment. This includes company culture, employee support, benefits, and more. They weighted the rankings based on the level of employee participation. A company must not only have high scores but also have a high percentage of employees who took part.

The confidential surveys rank companies based on employee responses in ten categories. These include benefits, communication, corporate culture, hiring/retention, executive leadership, performance standards, responsibility/decision making, rewards/recognition, training/education, and also workplace environment.

Washington’s 100 Best Companies to Work For is a prestigious annual list and we’ve been honored with inclusion twice before, in 2013 and again in 2015. It’s a privilege to see our name mentioned with a collection of companies setting the standard for exceptional work environments. This reflects our commitment to high standards and efforts to foster a rewarding workplace that attracts and retains top talent.
