Tom has an experienced background in both family law and civil practice. He
has handled divorces, non-parental custody, adoption, and modification
cases in King, Pierce, and Snohomish Counties. From running his own
practice for 18 years, to becoming the lead family law attorney at his
most recent firm, Tom has been an excellent advocate for his clients and
a mentor to attorneys in the profession.
Tom
is a natural leader both on the field and in the courtroom. He coached
softball for 13 years, taking multiple teams to the ASA national
tournament and the NSA World Series. He feels that one of his greatest
accomplishments during that time was being able to get over 90 of his
players access to college softball programs.
He
has a reputation for bringing his on-the-field tenacity and drive into
the courtroom. "We were very excited to get Tom into our office," says
Ken Alan, Managing Attorney. He not only brings years of experience in
Washington family law, but he brings a great track record of providing
energetic, knowledgeable, and aggressive legal service to his clients."
Although
Tom retired from coaching in 2008, he still enjoys avidly supporting
all Husky teams, the Mariners, and the Seahawks. When he has free time
he spends it working in his garden, woodworking, or at his favorite
restaurant, Pizza Bank in Kirkland, where he eats almost every Friday
night.
